- ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪I fell into the ocean in Port Lavaca and got many cuts from oysters, two of which required staples. This all happened on Mother's Day at 4:30 pm. We arrived at the Urgent care by 4:57 pm and they were willing to see me, which you can't always say about urgent care facilities. And then I got straight in, they cleaned me up, gave me staples, and got me on antibiotics immediately. I am very appreciative for Lucy, Gabriel, and JD for their quick and effective work to make sure I left the urgent care facility altogether and provided for as I went off to tend to my wounds.
